I'm through with standing in line to movies I'll never get in
It's like Super Mario Sunshine 'cause I'm never gonna win
This life hasn't turned out
Quite the way I want it to be…

I want a brand new laptop of the Alienware kind
And to have a boyfriend who pwns all mankind [what? Guess I got that one]
And a king size bed
Big enough for one plus me
(But, what do you need?)
I need a calculator that's got no limit
And a big black van with a techlab in it
Gonna join the most wanted list
At ninety-seven million dollars
(Been there, didn't get caught)
I want to party like the ultimate geek,
Have LAN parties every day of the week
Somewhere between the wall and floor
Is fine by me
(Don't knock over the computer!!)
I'm gonna love this life
For all its worth I'm pretty blessed
I'm done with hurting
And being so depressed
'Cause we all just want to be nerdy stars
And live in bohemian houses, drivin' Nissan cars
The girls come tough but the 'Dew comes cheap
We'll all have bags under our eyes, 'cause we just won't sleep!
And we'll hang out in the coolest guilds
With the latest guidebook on today's boss battles
Every crazy good player is gonna wind up here
This intellectual badass is someone to ph34r

And be great like Steve Jobs and hack into schools
I'll get you anything with my equals sign bracket smile
Everybody's got RadioShack on speed dial
I'm gonna dress myself in the latest apparel
Laugh at n00bs through my virtual gun barrel
Gonna date a nerd that loves
To invest her money with me

This was written as a christmas card for my boyfriend! Its a spoof on Nickelback's song "Rockstar" - read to the same tune, although I used some poetic license and some of the verses don't match entirely, but for the most part they do... I think hahaha
