Literature Text

The moon was face-full like a glass of milk
And it shone with a wicked smile on the snow
Like a Cheshire-cat looking upon the scene below

Thud. Thud. His thick black boots banged across the roof
From his team of six hell-horses guiding the sleigh
Where half a dozen knives and two bodies lay

He was gaunt skin and bones – dressed up in grim reaper black
Bearing protruding cheekbones and razor teeth combed with lies
Wearing a mask of white with slits for the eyes

[I'm so sorry
I should have helped you,
I should have helped,
I should have
]

He walked to the chimney and descended down
Landed on the gray dull ashes and stirred up dust
He strode across the rug with feelings of nauseating disgust

[When the ground went red, I just ran away]

Walking into the rooms where my family lay
He butchered their bodies, cut open their hearts
And slung over his shoulder in a hefty bag were the parts

"Breaking news: Christmas day: This thing - its victims were pulled through the chimney
and blood stains were left on the roof.  Twenty missing persons
have been reported as of yet...
"

The crimson blood flooded under their doors
And drowned the decorations in a deluge of red
And I heard the shrieks and screams spread

The anti-Santa, the demon of Christmas
Had visited us that night,
Force-feeding us fear then out of sight

"Please help me
Please help
Please
"
Okay this sounds really wierd and depressing for a christmas poem ... and it is but ... it was written for
